Ride history[]

In 1999, construction by Giovanola began on Goliath, which was set to open the next year. The ride finally opened on February 11, 2000 for the public. From it's opening day to May 13, 2000, Goliath held the record for longest drop. Millennium Force at Cedar Point beat its record.

Ride synopsis[]

Riders go up a hill of 235ft, then plummit 255ft, including going underground in the process. Riders go back up a steep hill, at a tilt, and go down again. After the turn, the riders go down another drop and flatten for the ride camera. Riders go up an airtime hill and reach the brakes. After a series of multiple helixes and bunny hills, the ride finally halts at the station.
