A sit-down coaster is a rollercoaster where passengers are seated, and is completely made of steel.

Roller coaster history[]

The first model of a sit-down rollercoaster was Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland in 1955. The most recent steel rollercoaster. The last rollercoaster made of steel was Abyss at Adventure World in November 2013.
